Hi, I am Ka kei Ho. I have been an Internet user for around 12 years, since 1998, I started at the age of seven. I was the first kid on my class to ever use a computer, not because I was the smartest or the most deserving, I was lucky enough to have a mom who thought that buying a computer would be a good idea for “the kids”.
I used to run a blog under this same domain four years ago, when I was fifteen. Back then blogging was my hobby of choice, however I discovered Poker, a friend introduced me to the game and since then I decided that I wanted to become a Professional Poker Player. Two years after, I proclaimed myself a Professional Poker Player.
My biggest passion is traveling, I have been able to fund my traveling with my poker earnings. I have been to great places in Venezuela like:
- Maracaibo (My Hometown)
- Margarita Island
- Ciudad Bolivar
- Angel’s Falls
- Merida
- Los Llanos
- Chichiriviche
- …And many other places!
In Colombia I visited:
- Bogota
- Salento
- Medellin
- Cartagena
- Santa Marta
After backpacking through Colombia I decided to move indefinitely to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I lived there for four months and got to meet great people, mostly people that played Poker Professionally as well. I tried to go to Cooking School, just as a hobbie, turns out the school was too serious for me and my lack of skills in the kitchen made me drop out after three months. I moved to Hong Kong after living four months in Buenos Aires. Hong Kong is currently the city I call my city. I am an officially a Hong Kong citizen.
In case you are wondering my age, I am nineteen years old. I got out of high-school two years ago, while most of my friends decided to go to college I figured that it was not for me. I tried going to med-school and took some pre-courses but as scary as it sound, I found it boring. I thought it was going to be interesting, but the college enviroment is not very fun nor interesting, atleast for me.
While I have been a Professional Poker Player, and I think is a great profession given how much freedom it gives me; I think is not something I want to do for the rest of my life. Towards the end of my stay in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I figured that starting a company would be “the next step”.
That’s how BlissfulWays was born.
A company of one person is too much too handle and is not very fun. I decided to contact my very good friend Simon Castillo, A venezuelan eighteen-years old geek studying Computer Science. We put together our ideas and nowe we work as a company of two.
